Brazilian mixed martial artist Amanda Lourenço

Nunes was born on May 30, 1988 in Pojuca, a

small town outside of Salvador, Bahia,

Brazil. She is the first woman to become a

two-division UFC champion, and the third fighter in the

UFC history to hold titles in two weight classes simultaneously.

Nunes is possibly the greatest female

fighter that has ever competed in the UFC.

As of June 2, 2020, she placed first in the

UFC women’s pound-for-pound rankings.
