The Army introduced Elvis Presley to karate, which he studied seriously, training with Jürgen Seydel. It became a lifelong interest,

which he later included in his live performances.

Hey everybody, it’s Beerdy here. What’s going on guys? So, one of the things I get asked all the time is when did Elvis meet Bruce Lee?

Or did he even meet Bruce Lee? Well, the story goes like this. Elvis never actually met Bruce Lee, but he requested to meet Bruce Lee several times.

But Bruce was either in Hong Kong or busy with some movie or Elvis was busy with some sort of concert. So they never actually got the timing to meet each other.

But Elvis expressed that he was a fan of Bruce Lee and actually the funny thing is that after Bruce Lee passed away, Elvis requested to meet him.

His manager told him that, “Oh, Elvis, Bruce is actually dead. He was really disappointed because he never got to meet Bruce Lee. Fast forward it another year, Elvis actually again requested to meet Bruce Lee, completely having forgotten that he was actually passed away.

Of course, a couple years later, Elvis himself, who died. So, both of these amazing legends died within just I think four years from each other.

So that’s the story. How did Bruce Lee meet Elvis? Well, that’s very simple – they never met actually.
