Fortnite: Barry Allen's The Flash Skin Revealed For Next Collaboration Event
Fortnite's Season 5 has had a recurring theme throughout, with players given the opportunity to play as some of the world's greatest hunters, spanning across multiple universes. Gamers have seen Master Chief and Kratos make the cross-platform jump from their respective consoles, as well the usual party of new characters made available through the game's battle pass.
While many thought the game may have run its course a few years back, Epic Games has continued to innovate the title in a number of ways, from huge season-ending events, to live concerts from none other than Travis Scott.
These collaborations don't seem to have any sign of stopping either, with a new character seemingly coming to the game within the coming weeks.
BARRY ALLEN COMES TO FORTNITE
According to a number of posts on Twitter, Barry Allen, more commonly known as Flash, will be making his way to Fortnite's popular Battle Royale mode. As first revealed by Fortnite insider @HYPEX, the skin will become available alongside a brand new 'Flash Cup', providing a fresh way to play the game.

This addition follows a number of notable collaborations between Epic Games and popular franchises, which have included The Mandolorian, Predator, and Terminator all making their way to the game. Fans have also seen Green Arrow made available in December as part of the games 'Crew Pack', continuing a run of skins from the CW series.
IS THERE ANYONE LEFT?
It's nothing short of impressive how many iconic characters have made their way into Fortnite, and you have to tip your hat to Epic Games.
Each season refresh brings a brand-new theme to the game, allowing an overhaul of key elements from weapons to locations thus refreshing the title for long-time players. The recent addition of “Mando's Bounty LTM” brought Kit's Cantina to the game, a new area for players to explore, as well as a new mode to play solo or with friends. The 'Flash Cup' may offer something similar to players.
There's also a possibility the game could offer more of a challenge, potentially tasking gamers to win a number of games to obtain the skin. Flash's addition to the title will surely be a popular one, so if this the case, the game-mode will certainly bring a high player-count. Knowing Epic Games, fans will most likely see Barry Allen appear within the Epic Store, available only behind a paywall.
Once official confirmation from Epic Games is received, clarification of the skin will be available. Until then, the community will continue to question who may be next to show up in Fortnite.
Fortnite is available free to play on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Samsung mobile devices.
