WandaVision: New Photos Show Elizabeth Olsen & Paul Bettany On Set and 'Magic' Dinner
WandaVision is officially taking the Marvel world by storm after five weeks of streaming and six jam-packed episodes. The Marvel Cinematic Universe's first effort on Disney+ is already making a name for itself as one of the best-reviewed projects in the franchise to date, and it's leaving fans on the edge of their seats waiting for what's coming next.
The show will continue for three more weeks, which will most likely include one episode shot in the style of 2000s sitcoms like Modern Family and two that will feel similar to "Episode 4," which brought the first full look into the real world of Phase 4. After the final episode of Season 1 on March 5, fans will be treated to a deep look behind the scenes of the Disney+ show with Assembled premiering on March 12.
Coincidentally, a look into the magic has just arrived via social media, showing off some action in WandaVision from its earliest episodes.
LOOKING THROUGH THE CAMERA LENS AT WANDAVISION
Two new posts from Twitter user @AidarSM show four behind-the-scenes images and a new video from Episodes 1-3 of Marvel Studios' WandaVision.
The first tweet shows a black and white promo image of Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany from "Episode 1," the two setting up Billy and Tommy's room in "Episode 3," and two images with Mary Jo Rupp in the dinner scene from "Episode 1."

The second tweet shows a seven-second video of how the team made Wanda "magically" moving dishes from the kitchen to the dinner table a reality. The dishes are all hanging on wires and transported over the same way they would be in a 1950s sitcom, and the table is surrounded by caution tape:

HOW MARVEL STUDIOS MAKES WANDAVISION HAPPEN
Even for as many times as it's been said the past few weeks, what Marvel Studios is doing with its first Disney+ show is absolutely remarkable.
The time and effort that the team is putting in to bring every decade of American sitcom history to life are proving to be worth it, making for an MCU project unlike anything fans have ever seen before. The costumes and the effects help bring every era to life the way they would have in their own time, with WandaVision utilizing this method of storytelling for something fresh and unique.
As Season 1 comes to a close, the hope is that more of these pictures and videos will release that show what Marvel Studios is doing on the other side of the camera. Much of this will likely be shown in the newly announced Assembled series on Disney+, but it's just as exhilarating finding this material on social media as well.
WandaVision will continue when "Episode 7" debuts on Friday, February 19, 2021.
