Zack Snyder's Justice League: Black Suit Superman Scene Released in HD
The release of Zack Snyder's Justice League draws closer, but marketing for the release has been rather underwhelming thus far. The likelihood of it even being present at the Super Bowl is becoming less and less certain.
It doesn't help that Toby Emmerich, chairman of Warner Bros. Pictures Group, apparently doesn't want the cut to succeed on HBO Max. However, that hasn't stopped Snyder himself, or his fans, from advertising the film by launching online campaigns or having the director participate in interviews with fans.
Last July, Zack Snyder attended the virtual Justice Con panel and showed fans a clip from his cut of Justice League, showcasing Superman in his black suit meeting Alfred. That same clip has been released in HD without any audio interference or artifacts from the virtual panel.
SUPERMAN RETURNS
As part of the marketing push for Zack Snyder's Justice League, the official Justice Con YouTube channel has released this clip in HD with no clear differences from when it was shown in July.

SIGNIFICANCE OF BLACK SUIT SUPERMAN
Zack Snyder confirmed years ago, through a deleted scene, that Superman was originally meant to don his black suit from the comics in Justice League. However, after Snyder left, this was cut out altogether with Superman returning in his classic red and blue costume. It seems that Superman's black suit will have a significant part in this cut of the film, to the point that merchandise has been released for it.
The significance of this costume is that it is what Superman wears in the comics after returning from his supposed death. The black suit actually allows Superman to absorb sunlight more efficiently. It acts as an aid, helping recover when he was on the brink of death. Symbolically, it's also a transition period for the character for when he can return to his true colors and return to saving the day properly again.
So, it's likely that fans will see Superman fight alongside the Justice League wearing this suit, and before the credits roll, fans may also see him in his classic costume one again.
