Zack Snyder's Justice League Trailer Reveals Joker, Batman, Darkseid & More

Cyborg, Steppenwolf

It's only a matter of time before the much-anticipated arrival of Zack Snyder's Justice League, and fans are clearly excited. Set to debut on HBO Max, the four-hour-long cut is expected to bring a different kind of experience for DCEU fans, introducing new characters like Granny Goodness and Martian Manhunter into the fray while also establishing the threat of Darkseid.

In the past few weeks, the marketing for the Snyder Cut has ramped up, and the visionary director is at the center of it. Snyder has been nonstop in sharing behind-the-scenes tidbits and mind-blowing teasers to showcase the unique aspect of his version of Justice League.

A good chunk of the promotion is largely tied to the much-talked-about trailer reveal on Valentine's Day. Snyder shared several mini teasers along the way, mainly confirming that there are still secrets that have yet to be uncovered in his version.

Now, the full trailer has been released, providing DC fans with another explosive look at Zack Snyder's Justice League.

Based on the trailer, it's all but confirmed that this version of Justice League will be different and, arguably, improved from the 2017 theatrical cut back.

The footage pays homage to what Snyder presented in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice like the Knightmare sequence and Superman's death in the hands of Doomsday. On top of that, there was also a clear reference to Clark Kent's first flight in 2013's Man of Steel. That said, it looks like Snyder is reminding fans of his original version of the DCEU.

One of the biggest takeaways from the trailer is the final shot of Joker. The Clown Prince of Crime was heard uttering a familiar line from a meme that is closely tied to the character: “We live in a society.”

While the line wasn't originally uttered by Joker, the message and imagery were associated with the character for years, and it seems Snyder is well aware of this. This is a clever inclusion from the director since it will no doubt create a good amount of discussion among fans.

Another key plot point that the trailer established for Zack Snyder's Justice League was the involvement of Apokolips. The burning fire pit-infused planet was only seen in brief sneak peeks in Snyder's previous entries, but it looks like it will play a major role in this version of the film this time around.

Whether this is the final trailer for Zack Snyder's Justice League remains to be seen, but it's clear that this was a major step in building more hype and anticipation for the Snyder Cut.
