Avengers: Russo Brothers Publicly Support Zack Snyder's Justice League
During Phase Three, the Russo Brothers — Joe and Anthony — became the leading directors of the MCU. The two directed their first comic book film in 2014 with the critically acclaimed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, before going on to helm the Civil War sequel in 2016.
The positive response to both their films led Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios to give the duo the keys to the kingdom, allowing them to take the lead on the highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.
Years later, the two are some of the highest regarded directors in the industry. The latest superhero team-up is set to drop tomorrow with Zack Snyder's Justice League. On the eve of the long-awaited release, the Avengers: Endgame directing duo Joe and Anthony Russo have shared their anticipation for the film.
