Falcon and Winter Soldier: New Action-Packed Scene With Anthony Mackie's Superhero Released
The first episode for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is set to release tomorrow, already receiving major praise for its action and character drama. Even so, marketing for the show hasn't let up with Marvel Studios releasing new clips and trailers almost daily at this point.
The biggest money shot of the first trailer for this series showed off Falcon's skills with his new wings, avoiding explosions and gunfire in a canyon.
New clips released for the show give fans an extended look at this same action sequence.
FALCON'S SOLO MISSION
Yesterday, a new clip from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was released on Good Morning America, showing Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson preparing for deployment with army personnel advising him on his mission.

Another clip was shown on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, presumably showcasing the same mission gone wrong with Falcon fighting off multiple crewed helicopters with the help of his robotic companion, Red Wing.

RISK OF TREATY VIOLATION
This series is bound to further explore superheroes acting without impunity or as agents of their governments, which the first scene released showed with Falcon acting as a contractor for the United States military. The army personnel in this scene even tells Wilson that he can't be seen, as it would be violating the United States treaty with Tunisia.
The second clip gives fans the action they crave with Falcon masterfully weaving around the canyon and even using Red Wing to take out one helicopter and distracting another. It will be cool to see Red Wing used in this manner more since it was only seen briefly in Captain America: Civil War. This is yet another way for Sam to set himself apart from how Steve Rogers operated as Captain America.
The first episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, “New World Order,” releases tomorrow on Disney+.
