Justice League Snyder Cut: Set Photos Highlight Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman & Crew

Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Zack Snyder

Zack Snyder's Justice League had its fair share of ups and downs over the years, but the film's moment of triumph will soon arrive when it debuts on HBO Max this March. The four-hour-long cut has been confirmed to be totally different from its theatrical predecessor, and many would agree that's a good thing due to the latter's disappointing big-screen outing.

So far, the marketing for the Snyder Cut has ramped up in recent weeks, leading to a barrage of promotional materials such as posters, promo spots, and the film's final trailer. On top of that, the hype was further amplified by the positive reactions for Zack Snyder's Justice League from those who were given a chance to watch the movie ahead of its streaming debut.

Now, as the release inches closer, a slew of new images has surfaced.

AN INSIDE LOOK AT THE SNYDER CUT

The behind-the-scenes story of Zack Snyder's Justice League has been well-documented over the years, and these new photos provide a small glimpse of how the director works behind the camera.

Based on the first image, it looks like the scene where Snyder is directing Gal Gadot took place in the Justice League's first encounter with Steppenwolf, as evidenced by the presence of a stuntman wearing a Mo-cap suit who is presumably playing a Parademon. A takeaway from the still is the intense look of Snyder while giving pointers to the actress, and this essentially goes to show how passionate the director is in terms of crafting an emotional moment for the film.

On a separate note, the second image features the collective effort of Snyder's crew while improving the film. Not much is known when the photo was taken, but this is a prime example that the crew was all-in in terms of trying to preserve the director's vision for these compelling DC characters.

At this point, it's no secret that the story arc of Wonder Woman in the Snyder Cut is expected to be different from what was presented in the 2017 film. A previously-released clip showing the battle between Diana and Steppenwolf is the latest evidence of things to come, and it looks like the character will be involved in more action-packed scenes in the director's cut. In a way, this is fitting for the Amazonian hero.

All in all, Zack Snyder's Justice League will include a plethora of surprising elements, and all will be revealed when the film debuts on HBO Max on March 18, 2021.
