WandaVision has kicked off both the MCU's fourth phase and their new wing of Disney+ content. The Elizabeth Olsen-led show has been a great success in the battle of the stream wars Disney has put itself into and has paved the way for the future of Marvel television.

One of these upcoming streaming series will be She-Hulk, starring Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters. The show will be a "half-hour legal comedy," according to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. Feige also has said that this series will feature 10 30-minute episodes and Mark Ruffalo is returning as Bruce Banner.

It was also announced that Tim Roth's Abomination will return from 2008's The Incredible Hulk, but that has been the only word of a potential villain until now.

SKRULLS IN SHE-HULK?

The Illuminerdi has recently reported that a "mysterious shapeshifter" has been listed under a casting call for She-HulkAccording to the report, the casting call describes this recurring character as a 20-30-year-old female who embraces Earth's culture. This mysterious character will also reportedly use her abilities to get "power, money, and attention."

This new character will reportedly be in two of 10 episodes in the series and all signs point to this being a Skrull, the most famous Marvel shapeshifters.

THE RISE TO SECRET INVASION

Warning - This section contains spoilers for "Episode 9" of WandaVision.

Long-time fans know that in the MCU everything is connected. In the two projects since Avengers: Endgame Skrulls have surprisingly made appearances. In Spider-Man: Far From Home, both Nick Fury and Maria Hill were ultimately revealed to have been Skrulls the whole time, then in WandaVision's finale Maria Hill was recruited by a Skrull who was seemingly acting as a messenger for Nick Fury. Why stop there?

After the announcement at Disney's Investor Day meeting of Secret Invasion starring Samuel L. Jackson as Fury and Ben Mendehlson as Talos, it became clear Skrulls were about to become a serious part of the MCU. The introduction of a mother Skrull in She-Hulk will only further show their infiltration of Earth. Even though the Skrulls in Captain Marvel weren't hostile, that doesn't mean it will always be that way.

The idea of sprinkling in this alien race that can hide in plain sight within multiple MCU properties is a really clever idea. It will show viewers that this didn't happen overnight and build to an even bigger conflict in Secret Invasion. Skrulls are everywhere and soon maybe even Jennifer Walters will know the extent of their presence on our blue planet.
