Ms. Marvel Directors & Kevin Feige Celebrate Directing Duo's Last Day of Filming

Kevin Feige, Ms Marvel Directors

Marvel Studios is on top of the entertainment world at the moment thanks to the season finale of WandaVision premiering on Disney+. This debut Phase 4 entry solidified the MCU’s standing in the streaming world with five more series set to arrive by the end of the year.

These Disney+ shows will not only continue the story of characters established in the Infinity Saga, but they will also bring new heroes into the MCU for the first time. Included in this bunch are Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight, Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk, and the young Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel.

Looking at the last of these solo projects, an exciting news update has just come from two of its biggest personalities.

MS. MARVEL DIRECTING DUO IS FINISHED ON THE SHOW

Thanks to a new post on Instagram, Ms. Marvel directors Billal Fallah and Adil El Arbi posted a picture of themselves with Marvel CCO Kevin Feige, confirming they have completed their work on the Disney+ series. El Arbi included the following caption along with the picture.:

"Jumu3a Mubarak!!! Last day shooting for us on Ms. Marvel. Working with legendary producer Kevin Feige has been a blast! Merci frerooo! MS MARVEL FOR LIFE

Billal Fallah and Adil El Arbi come in as two of the higher-profile directors on any MCU Disney+ project after a successful run with Bad Boys for Life in 2020. After The Direct exclusively reported on their involvement with Ms. Marvel, the two have been regularly active in social media, sharing their excitement to join the MCU family.

The post above most likely doesn’t mean that filming for Ms. Marvel is completely finished since El Arbi and Fallah are only two of the four directors along with their roles as executive producers. The series has been shooting since November 2020, but there is a good chance that production will be coming to an end relatively soon with the series due later this year.

With full trailers out for three of the Disney+ shows that have yet to debut, Ms. Marvel is the first in the lineup that hasn’t received a full teaser yet. However, the MCU fandom is already hyped thanks to the short sizzle reel from Disney Investor Day and the handful of set photo/video leaks that have come in the last few months.

Ms. Marvel is set to premiere on Disney+ in late 2021.
