The Batman: Director Matt Reeves Celebrates Zack Snyder's Justice League

Darkseid Batman Justice League

Thus far, the reception to Zack Snyder's Justice League has been mostly positive, at least from fans who got to see and review the cut early. This reaction granted the film a Rotten Tomatoes score from critics higher than either Aquaman or Wonder Woman 1984.

Zack Snyder recently praised Marvel Studios for its films, saying that “An effort to duplicate that is insanity because they’re so good at it.” As if to reciprocate this praise, the Russo Brothers posted equal compliments to Snyder, saying that they would both be “...watching along with everyone else.”

Now, another director from the same DC aisle has given their own congratulations to Snyder and his director's cut release.

ONE DC DIRECTOR CONGRATULATING ANOTHER

On the release date of Zack Snyder's Justice League on HBO Max, The Batman director Matt Reeves congratulated Snyder on its release through Twitter, expressing his excitement to see it.

Reeves mentioned that he's "so happy" for Snyder:

“What a long, painful, epic journey to this day, my friend. But you did it. So happy your vision is finally being shared with the world, Zack Snyder. Can't wait to see...Zack Snyder's Justice League.”

EVERYONE IS HAPPY FOR ZACK SNYDER

It's nice to see directors on both sides being happy for Snyder and his director's cut after such a long journey of getting it released to the public on his own terms. As Reeves described it, it really does seem like “a long, painful, epic journey” for Snyder and his vision to be released to the world.

Although, even during the production and subsequent release of his cut, Snyder still seemed to run into issues, such as the release strategy for the film suddenly changing. So, while some viewers might not have the time or opportunity to watch all four hours in one sitting, it's still separated by six named chapters.

Zack Snyder's Justice League is currently available to stream on HBO Max.
