As the release of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier begins to edge closer, the marketing for the series is starting to ramp up in a big way. The Super Bowl saw the release of a new trailer for the Disney+ series and since then Disney has moved full steam ahead with the marketing as well.

Anticipation for the project is at an all-time high, potentially leaving it poised to launch with even bigger numbers than WandaVision or The Mandalorian. As is expected for Disney, a large amount of promotional material is being put behind the series, something which is starting to appear in public as billboards begin going up.

THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER TAKES THE LA SPOTLIGHT

Billboards for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier have begun appearing in Los Angles in recent days with several Twitter accounts having spotted different posters across the city.

One of the posters spotted on an LA billboard reveals new art from the upcoming series. Sam is shown with his iconic Falcon wings spread beside Bucky in front of a city with helicopters in its skyline — it remains unclear what city this could be.

Notably, the previously released main poster art of the series has been spotted on the renowned Hollywood Boulevard. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier appearing on such a major street of the city showcases Marvel and Disney's expensive marketing push for the Disney+ show.

THE HOUSE OF MOUSE DOESN'T MESS AROUND

Up until now, promotional material for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has yet to surface in a major public capacity. As was expected, Disney is putting a significant marketing push behind the high-budget Disney+ series, just as they have previously done with WandaVision and The Mandalorian.

As the series is due to release in just a few weeks with WandaVision nearing its end, fans should expect marketing to begin ramping up in a massive way for the next Marvel series. With how much money the House of Mouse has poured into the production of these series, it's clear a promotional push is on the way.

While the new art reveals very little regarding the series, every piece of new art is extremely exciting as the series edges ever closer. Since the Super Bowl, the studio has published a slew of new promos and art to advertise the series as it is expected to arrive with even greater popularity than WandaVision.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will debut its first installment on Disney+ on March 19.
