WandaVision: Elizabeth Olsen's Full New Scarlet Witch Costume Revealed In Concept Art
It seems like one of the most exciting things for fans to see from Marvel Studios is the concept art produced for the films. Seeing the transition from drawing to live-action is always a thrill when it comes to adapting the comics, but when it's concept art, it's essentially watching the building blocks to that adaptation.
Soon, like previous MCU films, an art book will be released for WandaVision, but that doesn't mean artists from Marvel Studios won't keep releasing concept art online.
Now, a fascinating piece of art showing off the finalized concept for Wanda's proper superhero costume has been unveiled...
THE SCARLET WITCH ARISES
Andy Park, Marvel Studios Director of Visual Development, released concept art of Elizabeth Olsen's new Scarlet Witch costume that debuted in WandaVision.
Here's how the final concept of the Scarlet Witch suit compares to the design worn by Elizabeth Olsen in the WandaVision finale:
Park's tweet revealing the concept art can be seen below:
“You ARE the Scarlet Witch!” This is the approved concept design I did for the finale of #WandaVision Shout out to our fearless leaders: Matt Shakman, Jac Schaeffer, & @MarvelStudios leadership @Kevfeige @louisde2 Victoria Alonso & Mary Livanos #ScarletWitch pic.twitter.com/DAGNKwdg6n

SEEING HOW THE MAGIC HAPPENS
Marvel fans are really getting spoiled with how much content from behind-the-scenes they're shown.
Artists from Marvel Studios have already freely posted their concept art from the films for all to see. On top of that, fans have access to multiple detailed art books, and now, a documentary series about every upcoming show and film, including Black Widow. There is an endless amount of content for fans to discuss.
The concept art itself for Wanda's Scarlet Witch costume translated to the screen marvelously with only some very minor changes; the most apparent is the red not popping out as much as it is in the concept art, but that could easily just be attributed to the lighting and color-grading.
Hopefully, when Wanda returns in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, her Scarlet Witch costume will continue to be on full display.
