DC FanDome: Superhero Fan Event Announces Return In October
The pandemic changed the entertainment industry like never before, forcing studios to adjust by shifting release dates and closing down in-person events such as San Diego Comic-Con. Still, Marvel Studios and Warner Bros. found a way to announce all of their upcoming projects in a unique way, with the former using Disney's Investor Day while the latter created a virtual event in the form of DC FanDome.
DC FanDome served as a massive online event that played host to a multitude of stars and reveals, cementing the future of the DC brand. The event was reportedly watched by millions of fans around the globe, ultimately leading to technical difficulties that somewhat limited viewer experience during the first hours of the convention.
Despite that, DC FanDome was described as a successful event, and many would agree that it paved the way for more online conventions in the near future.
Now, a new confirmation has surfaced that would excite DC fans everywhere.
DC FANDOME IS BACK
DC confirmed in a tweet that DC FanDome will be back as a “global experience” on October 16, 2021.
