Marvel's She-Hulk: First Look at Tatiana Maslany as Lead Character Revealed In Set Photo
While Marvel continues to release top-notch programming nearly every week of 2021, filming teams are going full-speed to prepare a dozen confirmed projects for a 2022 arrival. Most of them filming right now will come early in the year, including the anticipated Disney+ series She-Hulk.
This project will revisit the Incredible Hulk’s MCU story for the first time in nearly 14 years as Tatiana Maslany takes on the role of Jennifer Walters. Bruce Banner’s cousin will star in her own legal comedy-style outing alongside Mark Ruffalo’s enormous green rage monster and Tim Roth’s Abomination, amongst other big names.
Filming for this show kicked off in Atlanta less than a couple of weeks ago, which was further proven by a recent image from the set of the Marvel production.
TATIANA MASLANY ON SET IN ATLANTA
The Atlanta_Filming Instagram account shared an image of new MCU star Tatiana Maslany on the set of Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk.
Maslany is wearing a gold hoodie with a "UCLA" logo. Considering that this California college is the alma mater of Jennifer Walters (She-Hulk), it seems likely that Maslany is filming a flashback for a scene taking place before Jennifer Walters becomes the massive green hero.

A PRE-GREEN LOOK AT SHE-HULK
While most of this series will likely focus on Walters after she makes her transformation into She-Hulk, this picture gives an exciting tease for how she’ll look in her original state.
In the comics, Bruce Banner donates some of his own blood to Walters in order to save her life. However, this transfusion causes her to permanently look like She-Hulk, although she keeps her mind and intelligence in her massive green body.
It will be interesting to find out how much time fans spend with pre-She-Hulk Jennifer in her first live-action story, especially as her relationship with Bruce is fleshed out on camera. No matter what happens, it’s exciting to know that this kind of depth will be given to her story as she makes her MCU debut.
She-Hulk is currently filming in Atlanta, and it will release on Disney+ in early 2022.
