Thor 4: Chris Hemsworth 'Trains' His Son In New Video From Marvel Set

Thor Chris Hemsworth

Marvel Studios is in the midst of one of their busiest stretches of work in its history in terms of both releases and shooting simultaneously. Many of these won't debut in theaters or on Disney+ until later in 2021 and into 2022, but fans are thrilled at the teams' progress nonetheless.

One of the most hyped projects for 2022 is Chris Hemsworth's Thor: Love and Thunder, which will bring the actor behind the God of Thunder back for his eighth starring role within the MCU. Although Hemsworth will have an all-star team of supporting cast members around him, the Australian megastar is in for likely the biggest solo adventure of his career in this intergalactic adventure.

With a story this big, Hemsworth is making sure his body and mind are ready for the upcoming challenges. This continues to be the case in his latest social media blast.

A FATHER AND SON'STRAINING DAY

In a pair of Instagram posts, MCU star Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky, shared a look into Hemsworth's time with his son on the set of Marvel Studios' Thor: Love and Thunder. Both posts can be seen below:

Chris Hemsworth shared a ten-second video of himself and his son practicing punching together. His son is decked out in a Thor-esque cape and some shiny chest garb.

Elsa Pataky shared an image of her husband and son alongside fitness trainer Luke Zocchi and stuntman Bobby Hanton. Hemsworth's physique is looking more massive than ever, and his son is rocking a stylish pair of shades.

A BIGGER THOR THAN EVER BEFORE

Chris Hemsworth has always been known for his god-like physique, especially once he took on the role of Thor within the MCU in 2011. That being said, reports have spoken of this version of Thor being bigger and more muscular than ever, and these pictures don't do anything to change that.

There are still no specific plot details known about Hemsworth's fourth Marvel solo movie, but with the way he's been training, fans should expect some major fights and action sequences. Teaming up with Natalie Portman's Mighty Thor, Jaimie Alexander's Lady Sif, and the Guardians of the Galaxy, he will have more than enough to handle with Christian Bale's Gorr the God Butcher on the loose.

Filming is still some time away from finishing, and the movie won't debut in theaters for more than a year. No matter when more specific details on the film arrive, fans are looking forward to any information that makes its way into the light.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to debut in theaters on May 6, 2022.
