It's no secret that Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the hotly anticipated MCU films, mainly because of the barrage of casting rumors that surfaced in the past months. Directed by Jon Watts, the upcoming threequel will see the return of Tom Holland as the titular web-slinger alongside returning favorites such as Zendaya's MJ and Jacob Batalon's Ned Leeds.

Aside from the franchise mainstays, the film is rumored to also feature a stacked ensemble of guest stars. Benedict Cumberbatch will reportedly reprise his role as Doctor Strange while other actors who previously portrayed Spider-Man in the past namely Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are heavily rumored to appear in the project as well.

The multiverse-based rumors were amplified even further when Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed that No Way Home will connect to the Sorcerer Supreme's next outing which is Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

While fans are still trying to find out if the rumored additions of Maguire and Garfield are true, another rumor has surfaced that could hint at another returning MCU veteran for the ambitious Spider-Man movie.
