Marvel Studios' 2022 releases are going into high gear behind the scenes, with multiple entries already having completed filming and others deep in the process of shooting what needs to be shot. Likely the next movie to begin production is next summer's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which will expand on the story of the fictional African nation and its protectors.

The movie will do the best job it can to pay tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman with nearly everybody from 2018's Black Panther returning to their roles, including director/writer Ryan Coogler. The cast and crew have been vocal about the preparation for their next MCU adventure while being aware of concerns from fans about the adjustments coming in rapid fashion.

As for cast members who haven't been confirmed yet one, in particular, is all in for a return thanks to his latest release.

Black Panther star Sterling K. Brown took to Twitter to share his thoughts on a potential return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sharing an article about fans' hopes for the actor to return in another Marvel project, Brown revealed that he "would be honored" to reprise his role "if there's a way" for him to come back.

ANOTHER ROUND FOR N'JOBU?

Sterling K. Brown played the role of N'Jobu in 2018's Black Panther, who came on screen for two flashback scenes and an appearance in the Soul World with Michael B. Jordan's Erik Killmonger. Playing an important part as Killmonger's father and King T'Chaka's brother, his presence helped give the movie's main antagonist depth as a character during his attempted takeover in Wakanda.

Jordan has also expressed his openness to returning to play Killmonger again, which could open the door for N'Jobu to come in after his death for future movies.

While it's unclear if either character will come back for next year's sequel, fans certainly gravitated toward his portrayal of the War Dog spy even with limited screen time in the 2018 blockbuster.  The Soul World could very well play a part in the next story surrounding Wakanda as the country looks to its past to help plan for its unpredictable future.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will begin filming this summer before it comes to theaters on July 8, 2022.
