Black Panther 2 Leak: Set Video Reveals Wakanda Location

Black Panther Throne Room

There are a lot of crazy things happening in the MCU, with Loki's insane developments being the biggest recent example. As Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness are on the way as well, things are only bound to get even crazier.

There's another movie that has been a wild ride but for completely different reasons. When Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman passed away, not only did the world lose a hero for many across the world, but Black Panther's place in Marvel's expansive story was in question. Thankfully, the world of Wakanda will see the light of day once again.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever recently went into production with most of the cast returning to their roles. Fans will even get some long-awaited characters joining the fray, such as Namor and his nation of Atlantis

While fans will have to wait for any looks at Namor or his fictional city, for now, they can settle for a leaked set video of Wakanda in the film.

WAKANDA IS BACK IN BLACK PANTHER 2

Thanks to an Instagram post by @coolfreetv (via @bpanthernews) the first look at Wakanda's return in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has reportedly been showcased in a leaked video of the set. The post geotagged Tyler Perry Studios, a production studio in Atlanta, Georgia.

THE WAKANDA THRONE ROOM SET?

Marvel, MCU, Black Panther, Wakanda
Marvel Studios

Comparing the video to the photo above, they both seem to have some pretty heavy similarities. The set being built might be the iconic throne room seen in the first film, which makes a lot of sense seeing as how the exploration of who takes up the mantle is set to be a major aspect of the project.

It will always be sad that Chadwick Boseman isn't a part of the world anymore, but the iconic actor does have one more MCU appearance to go: as Star-Lord in Disney+'s What If..? Boseman had his lines recorded for the show far in advance, so guests will be treated to his last performance in this expansive world. Watching his episode will certainly be bittersweet.

Fans will have to wait until next summer to see what happens over in Wakanda. However, there are only a few weeks to go until T'Challa's episode of What If..? airs, something that will hopefully scratch that Wakandian itch that many fans have—even if most of it seems to take place in space.

What If...? hits Disney+ on August 11, 2021, while Black Panther: Wakanda Forever arrives on July 8, 2022.
