Loki Finale 'Spoiler' Debunked By Disney+ Writer

Loki Mobius Owen Wilson

Marvel Studios' third new entry of 2021 has taken crazy twists and turns over the last few weeks, leading up to quite the unpredictable ending in the coming days for Tom Hiddleston's Loki. Much of this came through the God of Mischief's time in The Void after Judge Renslayer pruned him, sending him to a wasteland at the end of all known time in Episode 5.

In order to survive, as Lokis seemingly tend to do often, the MCU's regular anti-hero found himself teaming up with four other Variants of himself that were also pruned by the TVA for varying from the Sacred Timeline.

From killing another version of Thor to simply finding a way to escape Thanos' wrath in Avengers: Infinity War, these new versions of Loki helped carry the plot of the show's penultimate episode by expanding on their own stories.

As soon as these Variants appeared on screen during the credits of Episode 4, they almost instantly became fan-favorites. However, that may not have been so clear to one of Marvel's marketing departments, as pointed out hilariously by a Loki producer...

THAT'S NOT A LOKI

Loki writer and producer Eric Martin took to Twitter to point out a slight error in a recent social media post promoting the MCU series.

In a since-deleted Tweet, the @MarvelStudiosCanada account shared images of Alligator Loki, Hunter B-15, and Boastful Loki from Episode 5 with part of the caption reading "The Lokis."

After numerous fans replied with claims that Marvel Studios' social media team accidentally spoiled a finale reveal, Martin responded with some of his own humor by pointing out that he "(doesn't) think all of these are Lokis:"

Director Kate Herron also chimed in on this post by commenting on this being a twist in Hunter B-15's past, although she followed it up by clearly stating she was "100% joking:"

ONE OF THESE LOKIS DOESN'T BELONG HERE

Wunmi Mosaku has seen more than her fair share of action as Hunter B-15 of the TVA, even helping Loki and Sylvie escape the clutches of Renslayer and the fake Time-Keepers in Episode 4. However, Martin's post is still accurate by pointing out that she's not a Loki Variant herself, even considering how many were featured in Episode 5.

Richard E. Grant's Classic Loki served his glorious purpose by helping save Tom Hiddleston's Loki and Sophia Di Martino's Sylvie while Boastful Loki, Kid Loki, and Alligator Loki live on somewhere in The Void. On top of that, fans got a tease of President Loki trying to take over this world before having his hand unceremoniously chomped off and eaten.

While Hunter B-15 certainly deserves the spotlight in her own right, this was surely a funny mishap in the social media department, which Martin slyly pointed out on his own page.

Fans will be keeping a close eye out on all of Marvel's social media outlets over the next week, especially with the thrilling conclusion to Loki set to come in a few days.

The first five episodes of Loki are available to stream on Disney+. Episode 6 will debut on Wednesday, July 14, 2021.
