Loki Star Richard E. Grant Shares New Set Photos From Disney+ Series
Warning: This article contains spoilers through Episode 5 of Loki.
The end is coming over the horizon for Marvel Studios' third Disney+ exclusive Loki, which is setting up a thrilling final entry after Episode 5 recently debuted worldwide.
Most of the plot in "Journey Into Mystery" focused on the God of Mischief after being pruned by Judge Renslayer and being thrust into a universe literally called The Void as he fought to survive. With barely any signs pointing to how Loki's journey in this series will end, it's clear that the final episode will bring a multiverse's worth of surprises and reveals.
Tom Hiddleston also shared the spotlight in his most recent outing with three different Loki Variants played by Richard E. Grant, Jack Veal, DeObia Oparei, and a full-blown alligator. While all of these Lokis' journeys were similar in most regards, it was intriguing to see how their differences all led to their pruning by the Time Variance Authority.
In celebration of this episode's premiere, one of its stars shared a special look into his experience with Marvel Studios.
CLASSIC LOKI'S GLORIOUS PURPOSE
Loki special guest star Richard E. Grant took to Instagram and Twitter to share multiple images from the set of Episode 5, entitled "Journey Into Mystery."
He posted an in-costume selfie from his tent while expressing that he was "blown away by the amazing response" to his first full MCU outing:
Blown away by the amazing response to @OfficialLoki @disneyplus Congratulations to @twhiddleston & @iamkateherron Channelling Kermit! 😂 pic.twitter.com/hWRBm0bTq0

Grant continued by sharing his own picture of Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Owen Wilson as Mobius rehearsing their lines for the episode.
Boastful Loki actor DeObia Oparei joined in with his own photo of himself being fitted for his Loki costume. Oparei praised his co-stars Jack Veal and Richard E. Grant, along with director Kate Herron, clearly enjoying his preparation for the Disney+ show:
#Loki tonight, who’s watching? This is my 2nd time working with our brilliant director @iamkateherron and my first with the excellent @RichardEGrant & the wonderful Jack Veal pic.twitter.com/RuYr1HtqIs

LOKIS...LOKIS EVERYWHERE!
Although it was reconfirmed that Lokis are by nature mischievous and somewhat deceitful, the actors playing them have nothing but great things to say about their time playing the character.
Grant's Classic Loki found himself in the position of hero in this episode by helping his fellow Gods of Mischief escape from the evil Alioth before Hiddleston's Loki and Sylvie formulated their next move. In one of the wildest acting roles of his career, Grant brought a fun level of flair and comedy to the role, giving his best effort to make his version of the character shine.
Oparei shared the same sentiments as he brought Boastful Loki's debut, already having shared his first rounds on social media almost immediately after he first debuted in Episode 4.
With more than a handful of new Variants in play and the Time Variance Authority in shambles, fans are on the edge of their seats waiting for everything coming in the show's final episode. Whether that includes Grant and Oparei is a mystery, but they have played their roles brilliantly in their short time in the MCU thus far.
Episode 5 of Loki is available to stream on Disney+.
