The Mandalorian: Giancarlo Esposito, Timothy Olyphant & More Receive Emmy Noms
The Mandalorian took the world by storm on Disney+ with its first season in late 2019. When the show's second season was handed the ball, it took off and ran even faster, receiving praise from both fans and critics alike.
With creator Jon Favreau at the helm, the second season followed Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin throughout the galaxy as he fought off many foes during his attempt to return the adorable baby Grogu back to his species. When Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker showed up to aid the Mandalorian and his team of gritty warriors against the sinister Moff Gideon, portrayed by Giancarlo Esposito, the bounty hunter completed his objective as Skywalker took Grogu with him back to his newly formed Jedi Academy.
