Marvel's Ant-Man 3: Leaked Set Photo Teases Quantum Realm Exploration

Marvel, MCU, Ant-Man, Wasp, Quantumania

Back when the MCU started with Iron Man, no one would have guessed that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige's venture would lead to something on the insane scale that exists today. What's even more surprising is that a character such as Ant-Man is responsible for saving half of all life in the universe.

Scott Lang has had an interesting journey in the MCU. His original film was meant to not only be directed by Edgar Wright but premiere before the first Avengers film, meaning that Lang was supposed to be an original Avenger. Clearly, neither of those happened—instead, the shrinking hero debuted after Avengers: Age of Ultron, providing some game-changing support to Steve Rogers in Captain America: Civil War.

Ant-Man and the Wasp then went on to play an integral part in setting up Avengers: Endgame. Now, the duo's next film is set to have yet another big responsibility: introducing the proper Kang the Conqueror, the next big MCU baddies,  to the world.

Aside from Jonathan Majors' role in the proceedings, nothing else is known about the film's plot. But now fans have their first look at what seems to be a fairly important set.

ANT-MAN'S QUANTUM VEHICLE

Thanks to a delivery driver who posted on Facebook, fans now have their first look at what seems to be a spaceship/vehicle that will be featured in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

As posted on Twitter by @AntManNews, the vehicle in the photo has two seats and rests atop a platform that seems to simulate movement as indicated by the hydraulics system underneath.

The photo can be seen in the Tweet below:

QUANTUM REALM EXPLORATION

While there's no way to tell what this vehicle will be used for, it's almost certainly a craft utilized by the film's characters to explore the Quantum Realm further. As the project's title implies, the mysterious place between atoms is once again set to be a key focus in the upcoming adventure.

The craft only contains two seats, implying that not everyone may get to venture into the Quantum Realm—at least in this fashion. There's always the possibility that this is standing in for multiple vehicles with the same interior.

This seems to only be half of the spaceship in question. There's bound to be another half that the crew will use when filming from behind the characters, looking out of the hypothetical front windows.

Fans will have to wait until the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania on February 17, 2023 to find out what this spaceship/vehicle is used to. Maybe, if everyone's lucky, it's something one of the inevitable trailers will reveal.
