Disney Confirms When Marvel Fans Can Expect New Looks at Future MCU Projects

Marvel Studios characters

After the successful Infinity Saga, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is moving toward a new chapter by embracing the small screen, while also maintaining a consistent number of big-screen releases. The expansion to the streaming side led to the creation of new shows that explore characters like Wanda Maximoff, Clint Barton, Sam Wilson, and James Rhodes.

WandaVision began MCU's streaming venture by showcasing a hybrid sitcom/superhero story about Wanda Maximoff's transition into the Scarlet Witch. It was followed by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, a series where it chronicled Sam Wilson's struggle with obtaining the Captain America mantle from Steve Rogers.

Aside from the MCU heroes, the Disney+ slate also catered to the franchise's villains with the arrival of Tom Hiddleston's Loki.  The franchise's small screen branch also paved the way for the creation of Marvel Studios' first animated venture in the form of What If...? where it featured different alternate storylines set within the multiverse.

Now, as the MCU moves forward with new content, a special look at the franchise's future has been announced.

The MCU's Future Will Be Unveiled on Disney+ Day

The official press release for Disney+ Day (November 12) confirmed that it will feature content premieres from all of the marquee brands on the streaming service.

This will include a special celebrating the Marvel Cinematic Universe, "with an exciting look towards the future."

Alongside the reveal, Disney+ officially unveiled a brand new graphic for the much-anticipated event:

Which MCU Trailers Should Fans Expect?

Many would agree that this official announcement should further boost the hype for the upcoming small screen slate of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

There's a strong chance that this special look will include fresh previews of what to expect for upcoming shows like Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Armor Wars, and Secret Invasion. Given that all of the ones that were mentioned have either wrapped or are still in production, it's possible that at least small amounts of footage will be showcased for some of the latter series.

Meanwhile, there's a chance that another trailer or even an official clip for Hawkeye will be revealed, especially considering that Disney+ Day is close to its November premiere date. This could also be the prime opportunity for Disney and Marvel Studios to reveal the highly-talked about premiere date for Ms. Marvel

Given that the 2022 MCU slate for Disney+ still doesn't have an actual release timeline, this special look could serve as the big reveal of when shows like Moon Knight and She-Hulk will premiere in the next fiscal year.

Other snippets that could be included in this exclusive panel could be interviews with MCU newcomers like Oscar Isaac and Tatiana Maslany, as well as a potential first look at Samuel L. Jackson and Don Cheadle's return in their respective shows. It will also be interesting if Marvel Studios decides to announce new projects on Disney+ Day as well.

Whatever the case, all will be revealed on Disney+ Day on November 12, 2021.
