Jeremy Renner Shares New Look at Avengers: Endgame’s Ronin Tattoo as Hawkeye Reshoots Continue

The last time fans saw Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye was in Avengers: Endgame where he had gone rogue as Ronin. After the "death" of his entire family in the Blip, Clint Barton took to the street to enact his vengeance on those he deemed worthy of death by his sword.

It was a very dark path to see an Avenger turn down, but thanks to Natasha Romanoff, Clint steered onto the path towards redemption––which it would seem he did. That said, who knows what his upcoming solo show Hawkeye could reveal to us about his time offscreen?

Clint's Disney+ show is set to premiere on November 24 later this year. While the world will get to meet Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop for the first time, fans will also get further glimpses into Barton's time as Ronin.

Thanks to Jeremy Renner's Instagram, fans now have a look at a potentially new tattoo that the archer will be sporting in his upcoming adventure.

Hawkeye reshoots are currently underway in Toronto, where star Jeremy Renner posted a new photo onto his Instagram story. The picture in question shows off what may, or may not be, a brand-new tattoo for Clint Barton, who last appeared as Ronin in Avengers: Endgame before being teased in Black Widow's post-credits scene.

Hawkeye Is Almost Here

It's hard to tell what exactly is showing in Renner's photo. The important thing to note is that this new picture shows Renner's right arm, where, as in Avengers: Endgame, his main tattoo was seen on his left––and nothing on the right.

That's not to mention the tattoos don't line up either. In the new photo, no flowers can be seen, whereas in the tattoo previously known, there are none; though it is worth noting that the picture could be a work-in-progress, and not all elements are there yet.

The evidence seems to suggest the tattoo is completely new for the show, seeing as it's on the previously empty arm—which would be quite the continuity slip for Marvel to make. With Kang introduced, they had best be at their best performance when it comes to things like that or the future of the MCU could get quite confusing
