Marvel Reveals New Poster for That Weird Ultron & Vision Combo From What If
What If...? has been exploring self-contained stories so far, but it seems that a crossover is imminent due to the arrival of an Infinity Stone-infused Ultron in Vision's body.
Marvel Studios' first animated venture introduced many heroes with alternate fates from the main MCU timeline such as T'Challa's Star-Lord, Captain Carter, and Doctor Strange Supreme. Throughout the first season, Jeffrey Wright's The Watcher has been a keen observer of these Marvel characters, but it looks like the latest episode cemented the idea that the cosmic being will finally interfere after Ultron's imminent invasion.
Marketing for What If...? initially revealed an image of Vision wielding the Infinity Stones in the show's first batch of posters, but details of the character's storyline have been kept under wraps. However, it was heavily teased in a previous Hyundai promo that this version of Vision would likely serve as the main villain of the series, resulting in a massive multiverse-sized team-up of heroes.
