Michael B. Jordan's Killmonger Receives New Poster Teasing Next Episode of Marvel's What If
Marvel Studios is currently airing What If...? on Disney+. Its first animated adventure has mostly been received well among critics and fans, and its first few episodes have provided a diverse set of stories.
The first was the introduction of Hayley Atwell as Captain Carter, where she got the Super Soldier Serum instead of Steve Rogers. Then came Star-Lord T'Challa, one of the late Chadwick Boseman's final performances—so it's only right to see him having been able to talk Thanos into being a good guy.
The most recent episode was one which many were excited about, one which asked the question: "What If...Zombies?!." The episode provided a glimpse of what it would be like if Hank Pym brought a zombie virus back from the Quantum Realm. Needless to say, it wasn't all that pretty and took some pretty dark turns.
Now, fans have their first look at the next episode, which looks to be one focused on none other than Michael B. Jordan's Killmonger.
Killmonger Arrives in What If...?
Disney officially revealed a brand-new character poster for Michael B. Jordan's Killmonger, who is set to be the focus of the next episode of What If...? on Disney+.
Killmonger and Tony Stark Team Up
The episode in which Michael B. Jordan's Killmonger stars is none other than the rumored one involving him teaming up with Tony Stark, right before the millionaire was taken captive in the first Iron Man. What happens next is the real question, one which fans will see explored to its fullest in only a few day's time.
Fans have wanted Killmonger to make his return to the MCU since his debut in 2018's Black Panther, and while this isn't live-action, they're at least getting their wishes in some fashion. This episode is one in which the general direction isn't known at all.
Could this Killmonger episode of What If...? end with the want-to-be Wakanda King taking the throne with the help of a would-be Iron Man, perhaps?
Anything could happen, so fans will just have to stay glued to Disney+ this Wednesday to see what happens.
