Star Wars Celebrates Halloween With 5 New Shorts Featuring Ahsoka, Boba Fett & More LEGO Characters
For fans of live-action Star Wars, this December marks a year since the credits rolled on Season 2 of The Mandalorian on Disney+.
Fortunately, this December is also when Lucasfilm's next live-action series - The Book of Boba Fett - is set to debut, and there's already buzz about the start of filming for Mando's third season.
In the meantime, Star Wars is on the verge of releasing Star Wars: Visions on September 22, 2021, followed by LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales on October 1, 2021.
But for fans eager for more Mando and Baby Yoda, and since Halloween is apparently Lucasfilm's season of giving, LEGO Star Wars released a series of shorts featuring Star Wars' live-action Disney+ stars.
LEGO Star Wars Halloween Shorts Star Grogu & Ahsoka
Ahead of the October 1, 2021 release of LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales, LEGO Star Wars debuted five new Halloween-themed shorts starring the cast of The Mandalorian, along with Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, and even the members of Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
The first short titled "Celebrate the Season: Ghost Ship" features Moff Gideon, wielding a LEGO Darksaber, along with Stormtroopers, Mando, and Baby Yoda.
The description is as follows:
"As Moff Gideon and Stormtroopers play cards aboard his light cruiser, strange ghostly happenings terrify them. The Mandalorian and Grogu also happen to be sneaking around the ship… so is it really haunted? Find out!"
The full short can be seen below:
"Celebrate the Season: Carving up the Competition" offers a surprisingly festive twist on the Star Wars: The Clone Wars' Siege of Mandalore with a description that reads as follows:
"Ahsoka Tano and Darth Maul have an epic pumpkin carving duel in the Mandalore throne room. Bo Katan cheers Ahsoka on while Gar Saxon and troops root for Darth Maul. Who's going to create the winning Jack-O'-Lantern? Tune in & find out!"
The full short can be seen below:
The third short titled "Celebrate the Season: Trick or Treat" offers a glimpse at what trick or treating is like in that galaxy far, far away and confirms that Grogu loves candy as much as he does frog eggs.
"As the Mandalorian searches door to door for Grogu in Moff Gideon’s light cruiser he comes across something... unusual. The Stormtroopers are celebrating and handing out candy. Will the Mandalorian be able to find Grogu despite the Halloween festivities?"
The full short can be seen below:
"Celebrate the Season: Scary Starship" reunites Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, and Mando for some Halloween decorating that doesn't quite go according to plan, as its synopsis reveals:
"It’s a decorating contest for Boba Fett’s starship as Boba and the Mandalorian keep trying to one up each other with wild and creepy designs. However, an expected winner emerges to put both Boba & the Mandalorian to shame with their design. Watch the video to find out who wins the competition, if you dare!"
The full short can be seen below:
The final short, appropriately titled "Celebrate the Season: Pumpkin Batch," stars the members of Clone Force 99 from Star Wars: The Bad Batch:
"In a scary pumpkin patch, the Bad Batch take out battle droid guards in order to retrieve pumpkins for a grateful village. All seems to be going according to plan, until an old friend shows up to spoil the fun."

LEGO Star Wars Creating A Holiday Disney+ Tradition?
With the exception of Darth Maul and the Nightsisters, the upcoming LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales appears to center on the Skywalker Saga's cast of characters along with a few new additions.
So, for fans of The Mandalorian, The Bad Batch, and The Clone Wars, these amusing shorts are a win as they provide the opportunity for characters from these shows to receive the LEGO Halloween treatment.
Holiday-centric LEGO Star Wars specials are quickly becoming a tradition as, last year, Disney+ released The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special just in time for the Christmas season.
If these shorts starring Mando, Grogu, and Ahsoka, coupled with the upcoming Halloween episode, prove to be a success, Disney+ subscribers may be in for more of LEGO's take on festivities within that galaxy far, far away.
LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales will debut on Disney+ on October 1, 2021.
