The Flash Meets Stargirl In CW's Next Superhero Crossover (Photos)
CW's Stargirl is still out of the radar of most Arrowverse shows like The Flash, Supergirl, and Batwoman since the series' continuity is set on Earth-2. However, Stargirl's Arrowverse connection will progress even further due to the arrival of John Wesley Shipp's Jay Garrick from the Grant Gustin-led speedster series.
Stargirl is currently in its second season on The CW, with Brec Bassinger's Courtney Whitmore dealing with summer school and the looming threat of Eclipso. Whitmore is joined by her fellow Justice Society of America members, namely Yvette Montreal's Wildcat, Angelika Washington's Dr. Mid-Nite, and Cameron Gellman's Hourman.
This new iteration of the JSA is being overlooked by Luke Wilson's Pat Dugan a.k.a. Stripesy who served in the original version of the team. Throughout the first season, Dugan has freely shared information and even secrets of the original JSA to Courtney and her team, but the fourth episode of Season 2 confirmed that Stripesy didn't share all of them.
This aforementioned secret has something to do with the JSA's battle against Eclipso in the past. Based on the conversations between Pat and his wife Barbara, there's a strong chance that this secret could hurt the image of the JSA as a whole.
Now, it looks like this secret will finally be uncovered in a flashback-heavy crossover episode of Stargirl.
