Hawkeye’s Trailer Reveals More Avengers Scenes From Captain America Musical

Last July, Black Widow finally got her first solo outing. It was over a decade due, and for many fans out there, it was an incredible experience to watch it on the big screen.

Now there's just one original Avenger who is still owed their due: Hawkeye. The famous archer has not had his own story—no, Avengers: Age of Ultron does not count.

Thankfully, that's changing with the upcoming Disney+ show Hawkeye, which not only centers on Clint Barton but also Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop.

The first trailer promised a fun, action-packed Christmas tale with plenty of laughs and shenanigans. One of the more curious elements of it was the brief glimpse of an Avengers parody Broadway show called Rogers The Musical.

A new minute-long teaser for the show treated fans with even more of the wonderfully weird and satirical musical––even Hawkeye was bewildered.

In the brand-new trailer for Hawkeye, fans get another look at Rogers: The Musical, which seems to be a parody of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

In the trailer, Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton can be seen baffled as he is watching the play with, presumably, his family.

Among the parody Avengers, a silly Thor can be seen as he uses Mjolnir to summon some non-existent lightning.

The theatrical Avengers can also be seen on a bridge, one which is certainly mimicking that of the famous one they grouped up on in 2012's The Avengers. A low-budget Iron Man makes his landing next to the rest of the cast.

The biggest moment comes when the entire cast can be seen; the low-budget Avengers in all their glory. Hawkeye and Black Widow fight Chitauri on the bridge above, as everyone else sings a wonderful song to the audience.

The play will no doubt be a blast to watch when the show finally airs. If the trailer's narration is to be believed, Rogers: The Musical is likely a tentpole moment early in the show.

What makes the parody show even better is that it will be a hilarious glimpse into how the general public sees The Avengers––something which isn't often explored outside of the Sokovia Accords.

It looks like it will mainly focus on the events of The Avengers, but maybe fans will be treated to some bits and pieces of their later adventures. How awkward would it be if they re-enact Natasha's death on Vormir?

Fans can watch Hawkeye when it premieres with its first two episodes on November 24, 2021.
