The Batman Movie: New LEGOs Tease Penguin & Catwoman Battles With Robert Pattinson's Hero
Many would agree that The Batman is one of the highly anticipated DCEU projects, mainly because of the hype that it received after the first trailer debuted during DC FanDome 2020.
Directed by Matt Reeves, the film will showcase the DCEU debut of Robert Pattinson's Batman, and he will be joined by a stellar cast that includes the likes of Zoë Kravitz, Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright, and Paul Dano.
Plot details of The Batman are still being kept under wraps, but it was already confirmed that the film will feature a storyline where Bruce Wayne is in his second year as the Dark Knight. The trailer also gave a glimpse of several villains like Kravitz's Catwoman, Farell's Penguin, and ultimately, the main foe, Paul Dano's Riddler.
It remains to be seen how the film will balance every member of Batman's Rogues' gallery, but a new LEGO set may hint at several intense battles that the Caped Crusader may need to deal with.

The Batman's Second Year is Rough
LEGO has been part of the promotional drive of major superhero films, and this latest collection is a testament to that feat.
It is unknown if these LEGO sets are an accurate depiction of what would happen in The Batman, but it would make narrative sense for these foes to encounter the Dark Knight at some point.
Given that Robert Pattinson's Bruce Wayne is still in his second year as the Caped Crusader, it is possible that he might adjust his strategy since this could be the first time that he would encounter both Catwoman and the Penguin.
It is also worth pointing out that both fights that are featured in the LEGO set showcase chase sequences. Interestingly, a leaked The Batman video appeared to confirm that Selina Kyle would indeed ride a motorcycle in one of her escapades, and this could give Bruce an idea to use his Batcycle to try and stop Catwoman.
However, in a previous interview, The Batman director Matt Reeves revealed that Selina is not truly evil in the film since she just “wants to fight for those who don't have someone else to fight for them." This is an interesting tidbit since it would change the dynamic of Bruce and Selina in the film.
Meanwhile, Colin Farrell, who plays Oswald Cobblepot in the film, previously revealed that his character is only in "five or six scenes," and there's a good chance that one of them is the Batmobile chase sequence.
In the first trailer, Cobblepot is being chased by the Batmobile, and it appears that the LEGO set is the first detailed look at how it would all go down. It is unknown how this Batmobile will be depicted in the film, but the fact that the description confirms that it is "battle-ready" essentially solidifies the idea that this vehicle is formidable enough to take down any foe.
The Batman is set to premiere in theaters on March 4, 2022.
