HBO Max Reportedly Casting New Constantine Actor for DC Show

New Constantine Actor Potenially Cast

The Illuminerdi reported that DC is getting close to casting a brand-new actor in the role of Constantine in J. J. Abrams' upcoming HBO Max series based on the titular character.

The studio is said to have its eyes on Ṣọpẹ Dìrísù to bring to life this new iteration of the famous DC Comics warlock. The actor is known for his work in Gangs of London and the hit Netflix horror film His House.

Their sources indicate that the series is also looking to cast two more roles. The first is Akara, a 10-year-old Cambodian girl who is reportedly going to be the heart of the story, and is suspected to an adaptation of Astra Logue from the Hellblazer comics. The second is her grandfather, an older, deceptively strong gentleman.
