Andrew Garfield Admits His Spider-Man: No Way Home Performance Was 'Messy' on Purpose

Andrew Garfield invigorated fans with his appearance in 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home, though he admitted in an interview that he purposefully played the role as more "messy."

Though Garfield's return to playing Peter Parker had been unofficially revealed prior to the movie's release several times, the actor's entrance through the portal led to massive fan reactions both in theaters and following the threequel's debut.

Fans loved his full-circle story, which was actually teased in an interview prior to the reveal that he was in the film, and have been clamoring to see Garfield return for a third Amazing Spider-Man movie.
