Hawkeye Star Jeremy Renner Shares Bow & Arrow 'Training' Photos From Home
Marvel Studios is in the midst of its busiest year yet as the team works to bring Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to life. As Marvel CCO Kevin Feige and his crew prepare for the upcoming releases - like the one for WandaVision this weekend - the comic book movie mogul has more than a handful of movies and TV shows with cameras rolling.
This year will bring four theatrical movies and the first six series within the MCU exclusively premiering on Disney+. These will center around stories for new heroes and classic fan-favorites alike. One of those fan-favorites is Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton, who will be the focus of the franchise's last Disney+ series of 2021, Hawkeye.
The show is deep into the production process right now, although its star recently took some time on social media to share a lighthearted update.
NEWS
In a new post on social media, Hawkeye star Jeremy Renner released pictures of himself and his daughter in "training" for his new Disney+ series.
He decided to bring some humor by practicing with a children's multi-colored bow, while adding another picture of one of his children wielding a bigger, more advanced bow. Perhaps the funniest part of the post is the second images showing Renner's child is wearing a mask of Renner's, likely from Avengers: Endgame.

WHAT THIS MEANS
While this doesn't give any sort of update for the Hawkeye series, it does show off Renner's impeccable sense of humor. Even in a picture that has one of the deadliest members of the Avengers practicing with a literal toy, the biggest laugh comes from the mask on his child. Clearly, Renner's Avengers legacy is not easily forgotten amongst his family.
This image is a fun step back from the hard work that Renner is putting in for the Disney+ series, which will be his first headlining experience after starring in five MCU movies since 2011. Hawkeye will explore Clint Barton's story after the events of Avengers: Endgame, and if reports are to be believed, this show will take Barton back to some of his comic roots as he loses his hearing. The show will also serve as an introduction for Barton's protégé, Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop, who will likely play an important part within Earth's Mightiest Heroes going forward.
Hawkeye is currently filming and will release on Disney+ in late 2021.
