Justice League: Ray Fisher Criticizes WarnerMedia Comments Following Snyder Cut Release
Warner Bros. is currently enjoying the critical success from Zack Snyder's Justice League, which quickly became one of the most watched movies in the streaming world in its first weekend. Although fans have craved more after the four-hour cut made its long-awaited debut, there are still more than a fair share of issues with which Warner Bros. is dealing behind the scenes.
At the forefront of these controversies is the Ray Fisher vs. Warner Bros battle, which has been in the news on a regular basis after Fisher initially accused director Joss Whedon of abuse on the set of Justice League. Months after this initial claim, WarnerMedia launched a full investigation into everything that Fisher claimed happened, but the results of this didn't exactly come with any real consequences for Whedon or Warner Bros. President Walter Hamada.
Not one to back down from this issue, Fisher has once again lashed out at the situation on social media.
RAY FISHER CONTINUES HIS TIRADE
In a new handful of releases on Twitter, Cyborg actor Ray Fisher has responded to the quotes from WarnerMedia Studios CEO Ann Sarnoff on the company's investigation into reported abuse from the set of 2017's Justice League.
The first tweet calls out what Fisher sees as blatant racism from the higher-ups at Warner Bros., accusing them of "reducing/removing all Black and POC from that movie":
Apparently some folks at @WarnerMedia think that a room full of executives saying “we can’t an angry Black man at the center of the movie” (and then reducing/removing all Black and POC from that movie) isn’t racist.

Odd.

Fisher then took a shot at the former federal judge who served as the investigator on this issue:
The investigator hired by @WarnerMedia was brought on to help the company assess and evade legal liabilities.

Continually touting her status as a FORMER federal judge in an attempt to sway public opinion is obvious and desperate.
She is now simply a lawyer.

Fisher's third posting makes an attempt to put the blame not only on director Joss Whedon, expressing that "Toby Emmerich, Geoff Johns, and Jon Berg share in that responsibility":
As I’ve said—people will attempt to shift blame completely to Joss Whedon for the Justice League reshoots.
— Ray Fisher (@ray8fisher) March 23, 2021
Toby Emmerich, Geoff Johns, and Jon Berg share in that responsibility; with Johns working directly with Joss on restructuring the script based on the execs’ convos.

Fisher then offered two quotes from the interview in question to tries to highlight the "tone deaf" nature of the Warner Bros. executives:
Furthermore:

“There really was nothing that Walter did against Ray, in fact he offered him a role in the Flash movie.”
AND
“Walter happens to be a person of color, so he knows what that feels like.”
are the absolute definition of tone deaf.

In the final tweet, Fisher urges Warner Bros to shift the focus on what the investigation into the Justice League set did find instead of what it didn't find:
Final thought for now:
— Ray Fisher (@ray8fisher) March 23, 2021
Rather than trying to convince people on what the Justice League investigation DIDN’T find—how about you start telling them what it DID?
The public is a lot smarter than what you’re giving them credit for.
The proof is there.
More soon.

YET ANOTHER CHAPTER IN THE FISHER SAGA
Fisher's first public outcry against Joss Whedon came nearly nine months ago, not long after Zack Snyder's Justice League was officially given the green light to go into production. Since then, the Cyborg star has consistently teased his side of the story even while Warner Bros. has looked at Fisher's claims at every turn.
As of now, it's highly unlikely that Fisher will reprise the role of Cyborg in any future DCEU films, especially after he revealed that he'd be willing to leave the role as long as Walter Hamada remained Warner Bros.' president. For all the passion that Fisher has shown for the Snyder Cut's release, he has been equally vocal about wanting true justice for everything he claims to have endured once Whedon took over directing duties.
There are still no signs pointing to how this saga will end, but it's undeniable that Fisher won't back down one inch from his stance against Whedon, Hamada and others involved with this uncomfortable situation.
For now, he is surely enjoying the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League, which is currently streaming on HBO Max.
