There may be a couple of weeks left for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but Disney has already gone all-in on promotion for Marvel's next Disney+ original series, Loki. The series is already tracking to be the franchise's most popular show on the platform yet, even though there are still two months until it premieres.

Two trailers have now been released for the series, as has a poster, and coverage from major media outlets will soon begin to roll out.

A few days ago, Empire revealed several images from its upcoming cover story featuring actor Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki in the MCU. Now the magazine has released another still, this one from the show itself.

A NEW LOOK AT LOKI

The newly released image from Empire depicts Tom Hiddleston's God of Mischief in what appears to be a Time Variance Authority prisoner uniform, complete with what looks like some sort of shock collar around his neck.

This will likely be one of several stills from Loki exclusively released by Empire when the issue itself comes out.

TROUBLE FOR MARVEL'S MOST NOTORIOUS ANTIHERO

 Loki TVA Headquarters

Trailers for the Loki have depicted the titular character being arrested by the aforementioned TVA due to his escape via the Tesseract in a branched timeline during the events of Avengers: Endgame, causing chaos in the time stream. This new image is likely from a scene set at TVA headquarters, as the letters "T" and "I" possibly followed by an "M" can be seen on the left side of the picture along with a number "5" that is orange, the main color of the TVA scenes seen in footage so far.

The shadows present and the way Loki is standing may indicate that he has been put on trial for his misdeeds. Owen Wilson's Mobius M. Mobius claims in the trailer that he has studied the God of Mischief's entire life will likely make it difficult for him to defend himself against any charges that are laid out against him, and the consequences he faces will likely lead to his various time travel escapades seen in the trailers.

The Tom Hiddleston-led Loki series is set to premiere on Disney+ June 11.
