Moon Knight Disney+: Oscar Isaac & Ethan Hawke Spotted Together Before Marvel Production
Marvel Studios' upcoming Disney+ series Moon Knight is gearing up for production. Oscar Isaac has been training his heart out and honing his fighting skills and physicality, to play the MCU's version of the unbalanced vigilante.
Moon Knight focuses on Marc Spector, a man who suffers from dissociative identity disorder and who happens to be a billionaire. Oh, and he's also the avatar of the Egyptian moon god, Khonshu. To put it concisely, Spector is certainly a compelling, if not slightly wacky character.
Also on the call sheet is Ethan Hawke, who is portraying the main villain of the series. Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige has promised that the show will explore Moon Knight's character against a backdrop of Egyptian iconography and will take inspiration from the Indiana Jones films.
NOT SO MANY MOONS AWAY
Instagram user djnuklear has posted a selfie he took with Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke in Hungary, which essentially signals that production is about to begin on the hotly anticipated Moon Knight series. Check out the post below:
WHAT A DAY FOR A KNIGHT
This fan certainly was fortunate to land a chance encounter with the two actors. His caption indicates that he met the pair while he was out biking. Talk about a lucky break!
What's more is that this photo is confirmation that Moon Knight is either already in production or just about to begin, as filming was slated to take place in Budapest, Hungary.
Moon Knight is slated to hit Disney+ sometime in 2022.
