Disney Reveals Avengers Campus Map Featuring Black Panther, Spider-Man & More
On June 4, Marvel fans will finally be able to assemble at Avengers Campus — a Marvel-themed land at Disney California Adventure park at the Disneyland Resort in California.
In addition to the preexisting Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission - BREAKOUT! attraction, Avengers Campus will also be home to Avengers Headquarters, Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum, and the Ant-Man-inspired Pym Test Kitchen.
The most anticipated addition, however, is WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure where guests will be able to sling webs with Spidey and even purchase character-themed WEB Power Bands to change their ride experience.
And for Marvel fans planning to visit the campus, Disney just revealed a map of the land ahead of its June 4 debut.
DISNEY REVEALS NEW MAP OF AVENGERS CAMPUS
The latest Avengers Campus map released by Disney Parks shows the variety of experiences awaiting guests in this 6-acre land, including the Pym Test Kitchen, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, and Doctor Strange's Sanctum.
A differently styled interactive version of the map, pictured below, was also released online at Disneyland.com, showing off character meet-up spots for Black Panther and Black Widow.
This Avengers Campus is actually one of three unique MCU-themed lands being developed by both Walt Disney Imagineering, Marvel Studios, and Marvel-themed Entertainment, and it's the first one to open to the public.
The other two campuses are currently being constructed at Hong Kong Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris.
According to Disney, Disney California Adventure's Avengers Campus will offer "three entrances" and allows fans the chance to "join the action with the Avengers and their allies, like Iron Man, Black Panther, Black Widow, and more."
Fans looking for more information can also check out the land's official Recruit Guide recently released by Disney.
AVENGERS ASSEMBLE AT DISNEYLAND?
Avengers Campus was originally slated to open in July of 2020. But like Black Widow and Marvel's other 2020 plans, the opening was delayed.
Fortunately, 2021 is more than making up for the previous year and looks to be one for the books with Loki releasing on Disney+ in the week following the debut of Avengers Campus followed by Black Widow on July 9.
The rest of the year is just as packed due to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Eternals, and then Spider-Man: No Way Home.
While that's a lot of content, 2021 is also significant in that it's introduced two new ways to enjoy the MCU.
The first, of course, being weekly Marvel series on Disney+ like WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
But the second is Avengers Campus in that fans finally have the chance to physically experience MCU stories and join in on the adventure.
Avengers Campus opens on June 4, 2021, at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort in California.
