The Flash Movie: Behind-the-Scenes Photo Teases Ezra Miller's Barry Allen

For a film about a hero gifted with speed, getting the Flash's standalone film off the ground has been anything but quick. 

After several years of pre-production purgatory, production for The Flash officially began in April 2021 with a theatrical release date set for November 4, 2022. 

In April, director Andy Muschietti announced that cameras were finally rolling on this intriguing DCU project. 

But it now seems that the film has picked up "speed."

THE FLASH'S EZRA MILLER IS ON SET

Andy Muschietti posted a photo to Instagram of a chair on set with the name "Barry" on full display to announce that Ezra Miller is now finally filming his character's stand-alone film.
