The Mandalorian: Disney Reveals Epic Darksaber at Star Wars Parks
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is an immersive, Star Wars-themed land at both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios where fans can experience that galaxy far, far away.
In addition to the land's Mos Eisley-inspired Oga's Cantina, attractions like Rise of the Resistance, and the chance to drink blue or green milk, guests can also spend their vacation "credits" on souvenirs and collectibles ranging from Jedi robes to miniature porgs to customizable lightsabers.
Galaxy's Edge also sells an assortment of legacy lightsabers — replicas of well-known sabers from the Star Wars Saga.
To date, Galaxy's Edge has sold lightsabers from Luke Skywalker, Mace Windu, Anakin Skywalker, and recently both Rey and Leia.
But, for fans of The Mandalorian on Disney+, another well-known saber recently made a surprise appearance at the parks.
THE DARKSABER ARRIVES AT STAR WARS: GALAXY'S EDGE
According to Inside the Magic, fans can now purchase the Darksaber seen most recently in The Mandalorian as well as in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World's Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquities store in Star Wars' Galaxy's Edge.
Priced at $199.99 USD, the saber comes in a collectible box; just like the other legacy sabers, the blade can be removed from the detailed hilt.
The Darksaber was first introduced in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars and is a Mandalorian, black-bladed saber resembling a traditional sword with a crackling blade.
According to Star Wars lore, it was created by Tarre Vizsla, the first Mandalorian to ever belong to the Jedi Order.
It's currently unknown how long the Darksaber will be available to purchase at either Walt Disney World or Disneyland or if it will become available online at ShopDisney.com.

THE HISTORY OF THE DARKSABER AND MANDO'S NEW WEAPON?
The Darksaber has changed hands throughout Star Wars history, from Pre Vizsla and Darth Maul in The Clone Wars to Sabine Wren and Bo-Katan Kryze in Star Wars Rebels.
In Season 1 of The Mandalorian, Moff Gideon somehow gained control of the saber.
However, the last episode of Season 2 showed that the saber is now in the rightful possession of Mando/Din Djarin.
Now, Galaxy's Edge on both United States coasts is set in the time period between the events of The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.
And, curiously enough, right above the counter where guests can purchase legacy lightsabers at Galaxy's Edge, Mando's helmet and his signature rifle are on display.
Are the Disney Parks trying to tell us something? Fans will have to wait for The Book of Boba Fett and Season 3 of The Mandalorian to find out.
But, in the meantime, Star Wars fans at the Disney Parks are likely going to put a bounty on this iconic saber.
