Marvel Releases 3 Scenes From Loki Episode 1 Ahead of Disney+ Debut
When Avengers: Endgame rolled its credits, there was one major plot point left unresolved: Loki just kinda up and vanished. Gone without a trace, and the story kept chugging along. Of course, that was all because Loki's disappearing act leads right into an entirely separate adventure: Loki.
Premiering very shortly, Tom Hiddleston's Loki will be taking center stage and receiving all the attention that he could ever want. Not only that, but the upcoming Disney+ show Loki happens to be the very first Marvel Studios project to be led by a villain. Add on the fact that the show seems to be aiming higher than WandaVision when it comes to craziness, and fans have themselves a wild ride.
Thankfully, it does not look like it will disappoint. The show's first two episodes are already getting rave reviews, with some people claiming it to be the best Disney+ show yet. A bar that's surprisingly high, given that these are Marvel Studios' very first foray into the streaming television space.
As a precursor to the show's launch, Marvel has released some brand-new clips from the very first episode.
BRAND-NEW SCENES FROM LOKI'S FIRST EPISODE
With Loki almost here, Marvel has released three brand-new scenes from the show's very first episode.
The first clip shows Loki in hand-cuffs, being dragged by Wunmi Mosaku's Hunter B-15 to be judged by Gugu Mbatha-Raw's Judge Renslayer. Clearly, Loki thinks that they have the wrong person.
This clip shows Wunmi Mosaku's Hunter B-15's first encounter with Tom Hiddleston's Loki—who's had a very long day indeed.
Finally, fans see Loki having to sign for every single word he's ever said. This comes in the form of an oddly small stack of papers.
LOKI'S DEBUT IS ALMOST HERE
There are so many questions left to be answered with just the show's premise along. With the TVA patrolling timeline breaches, where were they in Avengers: Endgame?
Not only did the team do some world-saving time travel, but Steve Rogers then did it all over again to put back all the stones. Not to mention, of course, his prolonged stay in a timeline that was certainly not his own.
Thankfully, the creatives behind the show seem suitably prepared and have more than thought all of these things over. Now all that's left to do is for fans to sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride that Loki's six episodes will provide. Hopefully, it'll be so good that fans will be immediately clamoring for the rumored (and almost certain) second season.
The wait is almost over, with Loki dropping on June 9. It's only a matter of time before fans have a weekly dose of Mischief in their lives.
