Zack Snyder's DC Trilogy, Including Batman v Superman UE, Receives Official Blu-ray Box Set

Justice League Superheroes Movie

It's obvious at this point that Warner Bros. wants nothing more than to move on from Zack Snyder, which is seemingly mutual.

Snyder admitted in March that Joss Whedon's Justice League was still considered canon rather than his own director's cut. It got even worse when Warner Bros. put out a trailer for Zack Snyder's "trilogy," further implying that there wouldn't be a continuation of Snyder's universe and story.

Recently, Warner Bros. did announce that Zack Snyder's Justice League would be getting a Blu-ray & 4K HD release but not before filing a copyright strike against Snyder himself.

Of course, it also doesn't help that Warner Bros. has announced a box set for Snyder's "trilogy" of films - Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman, and Justice League - on Blu-ray & 4K HD.

THE ZACK SNYDER TRILOGY

A new item listing from Warner Home Video on Amazon indicates that a box set for Man of SteelBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (Ultimate Edition), and Zack Snyder's Justice League, labeled as "Zack Snyder's Justice League Trilogy," is planning to be released.

Finally, the box set comes with a sleeve that removes all the text on the cover, leaving only the members of the Justice League.

GOING AWAY BOX SET FOR ZACK SNYDER

This could seemingly be the final nail in the coffin of Zack Snyder's partnership with Warner Bros., which has lasted for over a decade and began with 300 in 2006 and now ending with the Snyder Cut. For the time being, Snyder is wrapped up with Netflix developing his Army of the Dead franchise with the streaming service.

Fans of Snyder should count themselves lucky that Warner Bros. went through the effort of compiling a box set of Snyder's movies in the DC Universe. Snyder himself may have hope for a Justice League sequel but there are doubts that it will be in alignment with his own Snyderverse.

Zack Snyder's Justice League is now streaming on HBO Max.
