Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will introduce a plethora of new characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and one of them is Riri Williams, aka Ironheart. The character will be portrayed by Dominique Thorne and the film will serve as her launchpad before being featured in her own Disney+ series. Ironheart's role in Wakanda Forever is still being kept under wraps, but signs indicate that she will have a significant role in the sequel

Black Panther 2's first official trailer featured many glimpses of the new MCU hero, and it appears that Letitia Wright's Shuri will be her ally and mentor in the movie. In addition, brief scenes of Williams creating her Mark 1 armor were also revealed.

Now, to celebrate the arrival of Ironheart, a special new Funko Pop! has been unveiled.

Ironheart Suits Up in Black Panther 2

This latest Funko Pop! of Ironheart clearly indicates that the new MCU hero will suit up and join the action in Wakanda's war against Atlantis. Considering the character's close ties to Shuri, there's even a good chance that her Mark 1 armor will receive upgrades from Wakanda, such as adding vibranium to the suit's exterior.

However, it's also possible that Riri Williams' Mark 1 armor will be homemade. In Marvel Comics, the young hero built her first armor from the materials that she stole from MIT. Given that set photos and videos from Black Panther 2 already confirmed that some scenes will be set in MIT, it's likely that the MCU's Ironheart will take inspiration from the comics by nabbing homemade materials from the university to create her first suit of armor.

Ultimately, instead of meeting Tony Stark, she would end up seeing Shuri, thus leading to the start of their friendship. That said, Williams may end up having two suits of armor in the sequel, with the latter receiving upgrades from Wakanda.

Meanwhile, the designs of Namor and the other Atlanteans appear to be inspired by the Mayans. This could hint that Atlantis may be located near South America, meaning that it is in close proximity to Africa. As a result, this would likely set up the conflict between the two warring nations, leading to a memorable clash that could have massive ramifications for the MCU.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is set to premiere in theaters on Friday, November 11.
