The Batman: Official Art Shows Robert Pattinson's Hero Holding Batarang
While the DC Extended Universe only has one major movie coming in 2021, 2022 will hold a franchise record of four theatrical releases between March and December. This will kick off with director Matt Reeves' The Batman, which will bring the DCEU's first attempt at a solo movie for the Caped Crusader.
Robert Pattinson will take on the leading role in this film, which will take place in an alternate universe than the Gotham City that was built largely by Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne in previous entries. While the story will start during the hero's earliest days as a crime-fighter, The Batman will feature Pattinson fully suited up as The Dark Knight in new versions of the classic superhero costume.
Teases of this costume have circulated the internet for months, including a new one that just came to social media.
THE BATSUIT TEASED ONCE AGAIN
Twitter user @itsRyanUnicomb leaked a new image of Robert Pattinson's leading hero from Warner Bros.' The Batman. The picture, which appears to be for promotional use of the movie, is in black and white, showcasing Bruce Wayne in the classic hero pose with a Batarang in hand, although this appears to be a different suit from earlier leaks.

STILL A LONG WAY FROM RELEASE
This leak may not give away a ton of new information on the movie, but it's still exciting to see another look at Pattinson in his first superhero flick.
Along with simply seeing a new Batman story in live-action, fans are looking forward to seeing this Bruce Wayne's evolution through the story. This will particularly be the case with his wardrobe, as earlier reports revealed that Bruce Wayne will go through more than one superhero suit through the course of the plot.
With only one full trailer released to the public, one that utilizes a quarter of the material shot for the film, excitement is skyrocketing quickly for next year's first DCEU film. The leading man will have more than his fair share of villains to take on, including the Penguin and the Riddler, but it will be fun to see how he adapts in battle along with his tech.
The Batman will release in theaters on March 4, 2022.
